mattyhennessy (178) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2014
Pours a light copper/amber with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by citrus and pine sweetness. The flavour is built on a very sweet malt surface with strong sweet citrus, floral and butterscotch. Very easy drinking, but not overly complex. The aroma is let down by the flavour slightly.

bottle, picked up at bws in broadbeach. clear reddish amber with a minimal head; aroma of pine and caramel; nagging hint of boiled cauliflower flavour but with enough pine and grapefruit to offset it. decent session beer

Poura a see-thorugh light copper colour with a small white head. Nice aroma from citrus, grapes and peach. Flavour is more bready and earthy, some tropical fruits also. Light and short bitter touch in the finish. Medium body and quite soft carnonation. A quitr nive beer.

M_Sack (275) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle. Medium gold/copper with minimal head and a small amount of lacing. A subtle, although dominant aroma of citrus - grapefruit, passionfruit and lemon blossom - with a backing of malt biscuit. Underwhelming flavours include a touch of pine, grapefruit and bready malt. An upfront dry bitterness. Quite simplistic and perhaps lacking a solid malt backbone, but reasonably refreshing ad drinkable.

I don’t recall the 70s as being anything really special for beer. So when I took a whiff of this beer upon opening I thought, well ok, now! Sadly, the flavor doesn’t follow the aroma. Poured slightly warm with a nice, off-white, foamy, soon to settle head and a bit of lace. Color is a clear amber with a few large bubble trails. Aroma is resin, a hint of butterscotch, toffee, hint of grapefruit. Flavor is malt, some sort of resin, but not the flavors usually sought and associated with better brews. .Body/carbonation are good. Finish is like flavor, some odd lingering flavors. Not a fav.

Clean filtered pale ale, with nice hoppy flavours. Tried in bottles and also on tap, much fresher and seemingly fuller in flavour on tap
