3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20Case 7/20 from the Brewery with a 7/20 bottle signed by BF and a jar of sensational fig jam........... the bottle and case of beer were cold, bonus:) Clear amber in colour with some light carbonation, the open white head soon fades to a tight cover. Sweet fruit and floral aromas, citrus and breakfast muesli. Quite a decent bitter hop kick. This beer needs food accompaniment and what better than the fig jam, some cheeses and bickies........stay off the skateboard after one of these:))

Pours amber with a fading white head.
Nose shows sweet malt, biscuity and bready malt with earthy, resinous and floral hops leading to orange marmalade characters.
Very similar flavours. Biscuity and bready malt, lots of sweetness followed by resinous hops and marmalade.
Carbonation is a little low.
Real nice understated English IPA.

Bottle at RBJG#2 - Grand Tasting Tim’s Place. Clear golden - white head. Nice bitterness, fig notes, fruity, caramel, grassy, bitterness, zesty, light caramel, ok hoppy, light sweetness.

Not a bad offering, but not one you would go back for. It is really subdued compared to other IPA’s on offer.

Very British. Citrus and perfumey marmalade/toffee on the nose. Big tawny body which adds a splash of character, but is a bit too much in the long run. Toffee, bready body sits on the vegetal and herbal hops until they submit. Better than expected.

Bottle at Tim’s RPJG#2. Pours a clear light amber with a small white head. Sweet and bitter with lots of hops and caramel aromas. Some grape fruit in the hops aromas. Medium bodied, Medium carbonation. Dry finish.

RBJG2. Clear golden colour, aroma is fruity orange, big hoppiness. Taste is less hoppy, much less harsh, fruity, bit umami, maybe seafood. Big difference between smell and taste. Nice.

Bottle at RBJG 2 Grand Tasting, thanks Unm4rk3d. Pale yellow colour with a small white head. Almost no lacing. Mild hops citrus aroma. Sweet hops fruit flavour.

Bottled. Nose of cat piss, lemon, grass. Clear golden yellow color with lace. Grassy flavor, honey, peaches and esters. Decent. Didn’t move me so much.

Light golden color. Marmalade and grapefruit dominate the nose. Sweet maltiness hit the tounge initially. Fully bodied. Marmalde and lemon in the mouth. a bit thick and syrupy, but pretty enjoyable. Moderately bitter finish. A touch too sweet, but interesting.
