3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very good take on a german hefe. Only fault was the lack of carbonation - was very little when a lot is needed.

La Hef Burleigh Hefeweizen es una cerveza con un carácter de fruta deliciosa, cuenta con un buen equilibro de plátano y aroma de clavo.
Sabores ricos, la cabeza brillante y una textura suave y cremosa.

Easy drinking, harmless beer. Didn’t hold head very well. Floral nose. Mild, inoffensive taste and palate. Low carbonation. Either start with this or save for warmer weather.

Tap at jimmys, brisbane. Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma is wheaty, yeasty and some citrus. Taste is similar, quite balanced and fresh. Nothing to complain about.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy golden colour, thin white frothy head, definite wheat aroma and flavours, smooth and not overly carbonated. A good example of a beer that?s not my favourite style, give it a try.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
The clerk at the BWS store recommended this, but to me it’s pretty average. Poured at a good a temperature with a sudsy head into a rinsed, but apparently not so clean hotel glass with a small, sudsy, short lived, off-white head and no lace. Color is a slightly hazy amber with some large bubble trails. Aroma is the traditional Bavarian fruit profile with yeast and some malt. Flavor’s like nose, plus some bitter and just a hint of tang as low carbonation. Body is also a tad thin. Finish is like flavor but somewhat lackluster. Nothing special, but not bad.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Australian take on a German hefe, blending the flavors of a Belgian wit with a kristallweizen. The first thing you notice when pouring is the lower carbonation, the aroma is half kristallweizen, half wit, with lots of orange peel and doughy white bread. Taste again is orange peel, bready malt, lacking the spice and hefe yeast notes that should be present in this style. Lightly creamy texture with a watery body. Easy to drink but too bland for my tastes.
