On tap: Pours a clear deep amber bronze with a stringy-lacing froth of white head. Has a fresh citrusy hoppy nose with some lightly toasted pale malty undertones. Starts with a mild sweetness that quickly dries out revealing lots of grapefruity hops and crisp bitterness before a smooth bittersweet finish. A true "west-coast-style" IPA that I wish was more widely available.

On tap at the brewery in Berlin, MD. Pours a mostly clear, orange-golden colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is solid with a nice grassy tangerine and tropical fruit with a light floral and lemon note. Clean pale malt backing with a touch of graininess that really showcases the single hop well. Flavor is similar. Lots of tropical fruit and grass with a solid grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine presence. Light grainy pale malt backing again allows the hops to shine. A few floral notes towards the end as this finishes dry and bitter with lots of fruits and a nice crispness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light, pretty crisp body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a really solid and easy drinking IPA. The light grainy malt backing really lets the single hop show off it’s complexity. I might need to check out this Motueka hop. Great beer.

This poured a nice hazy lighter orange color with a beige head. Aroma was lots of very fruity hops, mainly mangos and peaches, some grassy notes, as well as grainy malts, and some orange notes too. Flavor was much the same, just not quite as prominent, lots of fresh tropical fruit notes, yet fairly dry and biring. Pretty great beer.

Serving: Draft at the brewery. Hazy dark gold pour. The nose is lighter than expected with some tropicals. The flavor is a little floral then tropical. A light but lasting bitterness paired with a little light grain. Dry on the finish. I rather enjoyed this one.
