COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION A Saison utilizing Belgian yeast and Spelt, an ancient grain used in old school Saisons. Helter Spelter presents notes of spice and graham cracker with a juicy finish. When I get to the bottom, I go back to the top of the pint.
Serving: Draft at the brewpub. Light gold pour. I can’t get much on the nose. The flavor is spicy with a touch of yeast and grain. There is a lingering bitterness on the back end. The spelt adds an interesting twist I can’t quite place. Tasty.
