Cask at Cambridge Brew House, Cambridge. Mid-gold, ever so slightly cloudy. Big on carbonation and lacing. Pineapple/citrus aroma, with a gritty resinous note holding it back a bit. Bitter taste with some sweetness around the edges. Bitter and hop oily down the back of the tongue and throat. Hint of astringency and bubblegum, weirdly. Full gum-tingling palette. A good íun.

Cask at The Duke William, Burslem. A clear deep golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of citrusy grapefruit and peach plus pine, floral and a little caramel. Taste of powerful grapefruit and resin bitterness, peach, caramel and orange marmalade. Medium bodied and a sticky texture. A long, bitter, citrusy finish. A good hoppy beer with lots of flavour but too heavy and sticky.

Draft at Beer Craft Co, Holborn. Aroma has hops and citrus. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Taste has a damp feeling of hops which, to be honest, seems a bit old. Palate is thin and very drinkable. Overall a too damp beer, which makes the taste worse than necessary.

On tap @ BierCab. This is a cloudy looking kinda deep peach golden, some mild amnerbess in this and it has a nice big frothy lacing off-white head. Nose vise I get a fair amount of sweet red berries blended with yeast residues. Yeah, quite a fair amount of yeasty notes in this glass. Not super pleasant to be honest. Caramel sweetness, red caramel and yeasty nuts. Iíve smelled more inviting pale ales to be honest, but I guess it works. If has a soft carbonation level and a gliding oily feeling in the mouth. Itís actually both quite toffee sweetish and zesty bitter this. Itís clearly not a fresh keg this, or I hope itís not cause it sure doesnít taste all that fresh. Almost a little wood tart or even thin vinegary in the finish. Slightly oxidized in a way also. It definitely gets the job done though, cause Iím enjoying it more and more. 05.08.2014

Backlog rating. Keg at CBC Clerkenwell, London. It pours a clean golden colour with a big white head. Long lasting foam and lot of carbonation streming off the bottom of the glass. Aroma is hop forward on the fruity side, with pineapple and citrus. Taste is similarly fruity but not overly bitter. Grapefruit and peaches with a touch of acidic note in the finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Nice and refreshing.
