3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint of cask. Small but lingering head. Clear golden. I like it more than the sum of its rateable parts. Easy drinking, strong but not insane. A beefed up dark star apa perhaps.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at Cambridge Brew House, Cambridge. Mid-gold, ever so slightly cloudy. Big on carbonation and lacing. Pineapple/citrus aroma, with a gritty resinous note holding it back a bit. Bitter taste with some sweetness around the edges. Bitter and hop oily down the back of the tongue and throat. Hint of astringency and bubblegum, weirdly. Full gum-tingling palette. A good ’un.
