COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Good luck in finding this place Ė a small nook in the South Downs behind the brewery. Our full strength IPA nods to the best I found whilst travelling the US. The result is deceptively drinkable, with a burnt orange colour and full flavour in the mouth. Huge amounts of Simcoe & Centennial hops find their way into the kettle, with even more sneaking in post fermentation for a Ďproperí IPA flavour.

The top step in a Burning Sky tasting session. Similar restrained aroma but with a sweeter/maltier balance and a more sustained finish.

Light amber, opaque with white head. Pine stronger than citrus in the hops. Good body, lively refreshing carbonation. Good drinkable stuff.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, 30 Nov 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, citrus and a touch of resin. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, caramel, citrus, orange peel, a touch of grapefruit and a generous resiny/citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made IPA. Nice one.

Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 31-12-2014.
In short: fruit sweet ale bitter finishing ale.
Pours hazy deep gold-amber with frothy off white head. Long head retention, some lacing. Fruity, caramel, vegetables aromas. Medium body, average to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste follows the nose, starts sweet, fruity, caramel, again some weird off flavours. Ends some dry as bitterness develops. Enjoyable.

Mortlach (1132) - Rome, ITALY - DEC 30, 2014
On tap @Mad For Beer (Rome). Pours light amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, pine, some herbs, malt. Flavour is balanced between malt (caramel) and hops, perhaps too much "malty" and alcoholic. Medium body, high carbonation. So so...

Super interesting IPA. Has all of the hallmarks with a tinge of grape that really complements the bitterness and dryness.
