My Bottom Line:
Lemongrass, ginger and citrus fruit morph into grass and resinous bitterness in this silky, quenching Golden Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A frothy head of foam laces atop the misty pale yellow.
-The mouthfeel is well endowed for a 3.5% brew.
-This is a bit like Hophead’s little cousin.
-Drinkability is very high.
-Malts offer a few crackers too.

On cask at The Hobgoblin, Brighton.

Gravity cask at the St Neots ’Booze on the Ouse’ Beer Festival 2016. Light to mid-gold, clear, with a small amount of loose white head. Sharp tropical fruit citrus smell mixes with a bit of musty hop, ammonia and sulphur. Taste is punchy and bitter with a sweet fruity note rounding it off before the final dry bitter aftertaste. Not overly keen but it’s OK.

Half. Cask. Ale House, Chelmsford, 12th November 2015. Looks like lime cordial juice. White lacing. Super clean. Super soft malts. Nice bitterness. Nice juicy grapefruit flavour. Some lemons. Tutti-fruity. Very well-made.
