3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A decent IPA. Pours a nice orange color. Smells hoppy and fruity. Taste is similar. Their regular IPA is better. Had on tap at the brewery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draught at Buckman-Kerns Brewfest at EastBurn. Nice orangish golden color. Citrus hops and grapefruit aroma. First tasted slightly like lemon soap, but thankfully it became more citrusy and hoppy, with a sweet/bitter aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at the brewpub. Big citrusy, grapefruit nose, with some toffee lurking behind. Coppery-gold, with lots of light carb rising. Very well-balanced overall. Thick, sticky body. Doesn’t really taste like it has such a high IBU level; the hops come out as more of a texture. Good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Saraveza’s IIPA Fest, double-dry hopped version. Pours an opaque, murky orange with a small white head. Aroma of dry piney hops, slight peach and mango, balanced well by caramel malt sweetness. Flavour of very dry piney hops, sort of muted notes, more dry hops, balanced by caramel malt sufficiently, but no sweetness comes through. Really dry and flavourful, finishing fruity and dry hop-like. Excellent.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Hawthorne Hophouse. Appearance: translucent, light amber, looks like a DIPA. Aroma: slightly piney, a little stinky like European noble. Aroma: Not as much as expected, you need to swirl it to get the aroma. Taste: Not at all what I expected. A DIPA would usually be pretty sweet up front but this is roasty, smoky maybe. Did they use rye in this? Does not seem to finish with the bitterness you would expect from a 100 IBU beer.
Overall, one of my least favorite DIPAs

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Venti’s South. Some fruity sweetness in the background. Bitterness throughout that lingers at the end. Finish is a bit too sweet.
