3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a medium yellow. No head at all. A minor tart aroma. The taste starts off as traditional Berliner then this wheat-corn taste takes center stage and lingers. Almost looks and smells like a glass of wine.

Bright, light toasted amber, practically no head despite moderate carbonation. Aroma is toasted soy beans and sunflower seeds, slightly tart. Flavor is grainy, seedy bread with sunflower seeds. Kilned malt. Too much of this flavor actually. A flat tasting sourness. Perhaps the oak was toasted, in which case it would have been better to keep it lighter... Great to try once, not the best interpretation of the style though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap with Adrienne, Carla and Cole. Pours a very light yellow with white foam. Smells lightly sweet with hints of wheat. Tastes sweet initially, but fades into a wheaty, peanut flavor that has hints of sour pineapple.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom... Poured pale, golden/yellow with a thin head. This was not good. Tasted of plain, toasted popcorn. Biscuit malts. Initial no tartness, but as it warmed it crept in. Just tasted like plain ole cracker malts. Didn’t detect any barrel characters or starfruit. Not worth it, a disappointment for my favorite style.
