Burnside IPA is our flagship brand on our sparkling new 15bbl system. An IPA with plenty of malt body and thoroughly hopped with 6 varieties of the herbaceous perennial. Expect to taste notes of pine & grapefruit in Jason’s first offering.

Good beer. Well balanced IPA. Nice color and nice hop aroma. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Bottle share at the satellite 10k tasting at the craft clerko. Aroma is really peppery, peppercorn, hop. Cucumber. Flavour is light straw, earthy and peppery hop. Palate is light grainy, highish carbonation. Very peppery.

Cloudy brown-gold pour, decent head retention. Aroma of spiced cracker, jalapeños, and black pepper (wtf?!). Hoppy character is suppressed by the peppers. Weird, definitely not what an IPA should be.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy golden with a decent white head. The nose is toasty, orange, tangerine, apricot, light pepper and orange muffin. The taste is bitter, citric, orange peel, grapefruit, peppery, doughy, toasty, cracker and brioche with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok, a touch peppery.

At Burnside Brewing with Taylor, Stephen, Taylor, and Dina. Pours hazy orange light lacing. Aroma is earthy hops, sweet fruits. Taste is bitter earthy and floral hops. Harsh melon. Too bitter and not very interesting.

On tap at the brewpub. Pour is clear golden orange with a frothy white head and good lacing. Grapefruity, orange peel, lemon rind, biscuit, and grassy aroma. Taste is lemony, doughy, bread, orange peel, straw and biscuit with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Nice IPA.

Light orange pour. Had this in draft as part of a flight at Burnside Brewing in Portland. Bitter. Pretty good. Has an odd burnt taste to it.

Bottle. From memory; not very memorable. Typical IPA pour. Aroma was light, basic. Flavor was fairly bitter, but without anything very interesting other than bitterness. Not worth trying again.

A very hoppy light bodied bitter and malty sweet with bitter aftertaste. Its an orangy hazy brew with a white head. Its almost crisp with a good combo of malt and hops. A good summer beer not a bad brew

Very bitter, low carb. Decent start, but improved greatly with temperature increase and with food (salsa and chips). Would drink again for sure. It is it’s own IPA, not a ’me too’. More British style than American. Overall good effort, Portland reps.
