3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a huge white head that left me taking 15 minutes to fill my glass. This head retained very well and left some really nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus with some light pine and caramel. Taste is a bold citrus and pine hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leaving a light tingle on the palate. A very well done IPA that is definitely up there with my fave IPA’s.
When I poured another glass to finish the bottle, the head overflowed the glass and I grabbed a cloth to wipe down the outside of glass and my glass exploded in my hands and caused several small cuts on my right hand. I thought some of you may find this amusing.

Tap at Beer Cellar Sapporo (BCS for the purpose of the next 8 ratings!). Aroma is light honey or maple syrup, lots of malt. Taste is similar, grainy, not so bitter, malty to the front, little bit of sweetness. Maybe a little citrus.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Light amber, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit/citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel - faint bread, some tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light - some caramel, some tropical fruitiness with some grapefruit - light piney hoppyness. Caramel sweetish IPA with faint notes of bread. Way too sweet for IPA.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a very clear amber color with a moderate light tan head on there. Nose is stale, with some grass and soapy elements to it. Taste is the same, as it feels a bit heavy and slippery and only slightly bitter.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bit of a boring IPA with a bright golden orange pour and a ton of lacing. The nose is fresh and fruity with light caramel and tons of floral notes. Fresh and nicely accented with big grapefruit and floral notes. A bit boring overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Burnside, pours an opaque orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out citrus and orangey fruits, resin and caramel malts. Flavour is extremely well-balanced, with equal parts resinous hops and caramel malts. Beautiful flavours and balance here. Excellent IPA.
