Cask at 2011 Deeside Beer Festival. It pours a mahogany colour with a thin beige head and low-moderate carbonation. The nose is old wood, dark fruit and leather. The taste is astringent, hay, leather, hardwood, plum, raisin and currant. It has a moderate-full body and woody finish. A pretty decent premium bitter.
