2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 BeerCast_Rich (1202) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 17, 2011
[cask at SRAF’11] Hazy light brownish amber, aromas of vaguely sweet malt – almost no hop nose, other than a very slight citrus edge. The taste is very disappointing, the hops just aren’t pushed to the forefront enough, as the woody malts come through and lead into the finish. Doesn’t really taste like an IPA, which is a shame. Having said all that, it’s still drinkable [16062011]

Cask at 2011 Deeside Beer Festival. It pours hazy amber, with a very thin off-white head and low-moderate carbonation. The nose is bread, hay, grass and light citrus hops. The taste is wood, light lemon, lime, soap, metal, astringent and old leather boots, with a bitter-wood finish. A sub-standard IPA..
