On draught at Living Room Theater. Orange amber in color, with a lot of grassy hop flavor, and just a hint of oatmeal in the finish.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Fatehunter (794) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Two fingers of frothy head on a copper/orange colored body.
A mellow aroma of grain, hay and lemons.
The taste has medium bitterness of lemon with a not a hint of sweetness.
A softer texture, moderate carbonation and medium body.
Pretty good and good job with using the oatmeal.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BillKismet (3024) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Bronze, light cream head. Nice oatmeal and bitterness in the nose--an interesting zest to it. Body has a nice lightly grainy body with a toasted oat quality and a decent bitterness throughout. However, the mouthfeel is on the thin and uncomplex side. Sessionable, but kind of monotonous.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (3388) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 26, 2012
650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a generous white head with some good retention that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild but pleasant with grass and grains and a hint of citrus. Taste is better with a generous grass and citrus hop bitterness and a caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. A nicely done pale ale that is easy to drink and recommended as a session ale.

Pours a slightly hazy dark golden colour with a large bubby off white head.
Aroma is subdued and mostly of oats, slightly grassy hop and hay
Taste not so subdued with resiny hops and smooth oat and a touch of toffee.
Nice yet odd on the tongue smooth from the eats yet well carbonated at the same time!
OK beer drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maekchu (1126) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 31, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Grassy aromas, a field of hay. Hazy golden straw color. Creamy malt initial; grassy in mid palate, creamy and buttery; balanced aftertaste. Medium body. Very mild flavors. The creaminess is interesting in a pale ale.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Changed (305) - Ithaca, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Sample pour @ 45 North. Clear orange, white head, no lacing. Aroma is, well, cigarettes from outside. Flavor is oat, oat, oat. Very smooth mouthfeel. Little carbonation. Not terribly complex, but great, but drinkable.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 after4ever (5358) - Brier, Washington, USA - JUL 27, 2012
22. Bottom line, this is a solid little APA that doesn’t really gain anything in particular from the oatmeal. It doesn’t have any obvious flaws, but there’s nothing about it that stands up and demands notice, either. Pours a clear medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head that fades quickly away to almost nothing. Rich toasty nose, almost cooked. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, nuts, and dark biscuit on the mid palate. Mild biscuity finish. Not too bad.

Pours hazy amber color with small head. Aroma of fruits, caramel, malts, hops and nuts. Flavour of malts, mild fruits, nuts and toffee. A bit disappointing.
