COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnside Oatmeal Pale Ale is brewed using copious amounts of Crystal, Galena, & Fuggle hop varietals. This is a clean dry Pale Ale with low bitterness and lots of hop flavor. We have chosen to add 75 pounds of locally rolled oats to increase body and give our Pale a sweet creamy finish.

Slightly hazy amber color, small white head. Fruity, pineapple and perfumic aroma. Woody, piney, dry flavor. Bitter and woody finish. Dry bitter.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy luminous amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma is malt and floral. Very foamy carb supporting full body. Flavor is very floral with some strong citrus - lots of fruit bitter - nice malt backbone. I can imagine dry smashed oats in my mouth. But I’m fairly suggestable. This is a very nice pale ale - finishing so smoothly bitter it’s a pleasure to drink.

Draft at the source. The oatmeal adds somethibg interesting in the aroma, as well as oat taste and extra body. Interesting idea.

Bottle:   Extremely strong carbonation, causing for a huge frothy sandy head... way too overcarbonated.   Amber in color, slightly dirty.   Soft hoppiness, a little citrus peel, decent maltiness.   Seems like a Pale Ale with a little extra malt kick, which is nice.   However, this carbonation is killing me.   *BURP*   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Doesn’t taste infected, but does have a pixie stix like sugary sweetness to it.   I thought this bottle was going to blow when the cap was released.   Good, but too airy...

22. Bottom line, this is a solid little APA that doesn’t really gain anything in particular from the oatmeal. It doesn’t have any obvious flaws, but there’s nothing about it that stands up and demands notice, either. Pours a clear medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head that fades quickly away to almost nothing. Rich toasty nose, almost cooked. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, nuts, and dark biscuit on the mid palate. Mild biscuity finish. Not too bad.

Bomber. Pours a mostly clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A light grainy and earthy nose. Smooth, some earthy caramel, toasted malts, light fruity hops. A nice smooth palate, creamy. Good beer.

Aroma is sweetish with resin, some vanilla and hints of honey. Flavour is sweetish with some resin and hops. Quite malty palate. Becomes a bit sticky towards the end of the glass. Good.

Bottle... Poured dark amber/orange with white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of earthy hops. Easy drinking, mild palate. Citrus and black pepper spice hop flavors. Some grains, cereal, and a hint of sweetness.
