Hazy caramel brown with light white head. Aroma is burnt fruity notes, with hop citrus. Taste is a sweet, toasty oxidized malt, not unlike a christmas fruitcake. $6/22oz

A decent looking chestnut ale. The nose is malt forward, with a little graininess and some light metal. It has a bit of fruit to it too as it warms. Itís thick and creamy with apparent alcohol in the aftertaste. Juicy is indeed the word to describe it.

Draft. Pours dark copper with a short creamy off-white head. Decent retention and nice lacing. Big malt and hop aroma and flavor. Earthy, resiny, fruity goodness. Medium-plus body, soft carbonation, thick-creamy texture, and a malt-heavy, biting hop-bitter, strong, long finish. Well done.

A bit hoppy for me but still smooth and rich, with a slight sweet edge. Drinkable especially with spicy food.
