Draught at the brewpub. Aromas of butter, apples, peaches, and some light hops. Dark straw color with a big creamy head. Dirty hop initial; the same flavor in mid palate; finishes up very mild. Medium body. Okay, but the crude hoppiness blocks out almost all other flavors.

Fun to be number 10. Bomber from Made in Oregon. It is alive. Pours a glass of foam. Creamy foam. Doesn’t sheet like a widget can pour, but suggestive of that. Liquid is hazy dark orange amber and foam is creamy beige. Aroma is sort of malty (lot of foam in the way). Med body. Flavor is slightly roasted malt (think APA) but there’s a lot of floral and perhaps citric hop. It’s pretty hoppy and nicely bitter. It really is a pleasure to drink.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUN 23, 2012
Bottle:   Copper hued amber, slightly dirty, large foamy sandy head, nice lacing.   Biscuity up front, a little tart, minor soil and earth, has that organic malt profile.   Smidgen of citrus peel and hops.   Fairly entertaining.   Nose is softer, biscuit, touch of pith and earthy malts.   Smooth on the tongue.   Biscuity finish, malty, chewy, slightly nutty.   Lingering citrus and pith after the biscuit and chewy malts wear off.   Nice example!
