Burnside Stock Ale displays soft malt flavor with a delicate hop flavor and aroma. This is the perfect balance between both, creating a perfectly harmonious ale with a striking deep copper color. Made in the E.S.B tradition.

On tap at Burnside, pours a clear bronze with a tiny head. Aroma is pleasant, with notes of English malt and hops. Flavour is smooth, with English hops, bready malt, and a light astringency that lingers. Solidly made stuff.

"Mellow but complex and delicious. Toffee, caramel, pine and more Pine, but not overly bitter or hoppy. If anything, trending towards roasty malt. I dig it."

Hazy dull amber, crackery, diacetyl, and some really cheesy hops. Er, not very good.

Pours a half finger of off-white frothy head on a cloudy dark straw colored body. The aroma is a nice, if faint, grain smell. Really nice. The taste has nice complexity and balance. Dry grain, lemon, apricot, more grain. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. A really good ale with some great flavor packed into a fairly low ABV.

Draft at the source. Clear amber color. Pepery aroma. Flavor is a bit on the sour sude, not sure why.
