COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnside Stout is brewed with imported Simpson malts and East Kent Golding hops. Our Stout features bold notes of coffee and chocolate, with a dry roasty finish. Notice the beautiful thick brown head and deep opaque color. Pair it equally well with a main course of meat, or a dessert of chocolate.

Black color with beige head. Smooth dry stout, with a nice dark chocolate touch, a bit spicy, with a hint of leather, and a touch of coffee in the final.
Very nice.

Keg at the taproom, 08/11/14. Light black with moderate tan spotting and edgework. Nose is light roast, cocoa powder, toffee, dark malts. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, roast malt, touch of coffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light roast strains. Ok stout.

On tap at Burnside, pours a deep dark mahogany / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light oats and soft cocoa. Flavour is clean, with oats and soft unsweetened cocoa. Pretty bland, but drinkable enough.

"Creamy and nicely robust for the dry style though still nice n roasty n dry. Milk chocolate and coffee in the aroma and flavor. Very Pleasant if not quite a standout.

Dark brown, sweet, fruity aroma, milk stout style. Light and with only some thinned out chocolate malts. Simple, underdeveloped.

On tap at the brewpub. Pour is deep brown with a small brown head and good lacing. Roasty, cocoa, bread, marshmallows, and earthy aroma. Taste is toasted bread, sweet vanilla, grass, earthy, and doughy with a toasted bitterness on the backend. Light body with medium carbonation. Needs more body.

Black and creamy. Reminds me of natty the white sheep milk stout. Good choclate notes. Enjoyable. Had this in draft as part of a flight at Burnside Brewing in Portland.

Nice Stout! On tap at the brewery. Pours a pure black color with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet cocoa, some milk and metallic roast. The flavor leans toward sweet lactose/milky coffee and toasted malts. Good. Nice palate.
