COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnside Sweet Heat is a wheat ale with an addition of 200 pounds of Apricot puree, then dry hopped with imported Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers. Reminiscent of a Caribbean chutney, Sweet Heat has a subtle tartness from the fruit with a slight spiciness from the peppers which also adds a fruitiness to the aroma.

Visual: Pours cloudygolden sunshine yellow with a small foamy dissipating head, thin layer of retention, lots and lots of active streams. Nose: Fruity apricot with some funk, citrus, and wheat malts. (lvl-4)-pungency Attack: incoming sourness, crisp fizzy mouthfeel Mid-palate: (lvl-6)-fruity sweetness, medium-high sourness/tang, tart mouthfeel, (MAIN) apricot, bright pineapple, wheat malts, scotch bonnet pepper vegginess Finish: medium-lvl deep heated spiciness, clean wheat malt off-dry finish. Summary: Extremely sippable with a good balanced complexity of sweet-sour-tart-heat-fruity. Definitely unique and original.

Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy straw hue with fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is apricots, wheat, peppers, clove, yeast. Taste is dry with a nice spicy following and CO2 sharpness. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a light body and good carbonation. All in all this was a decent brew.

22 oz bottle- Pours hazy pale golden with a nice white head that reduces leaving a blanket. Aroma is spicy fresh peppers, wheat, mostly peppers though which is fine by me. Taste is similar, fresh peppers dominate the senses, wheat, it starts out with a mild burn but builds to a decent amount of heat. Body could be fuller. Overall I loved this beer, not nearly enough hot pepper beers on the market.

Bottle shared by Dave. Aroma is dull peach, wheat, and slight stale bread. Pours hazy platinum blonde with a small white head. Taste is light apricot and belgian wit lemon slight pepper and a stale bread weisse finish. However, give it three more sips and that slight pepper turns into to some significant heat. End of the glass is really hot. Loved this.

Looks nice but its heartburn city. Couldn’t even finish it. Hot peppers salsa in a bottle. Thanks a lot David.

Cool beer. On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A light nose of biscuit and lemon hops. The flavor is similar with fruity hops, then a big noticeable pepper burn in the throat, not a ton of pepper flavor but a lot of heat. Good beer.

Hazy yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Flavors of wheat, sweet malts, then warm green peppers in the back of the throat
Nice, just the right amount of heat. Tasty.

Bottle - Smells just like my favorite Jamaican hot sauce, sweet and heat is right. Cloudy yellow with a thin white head. The beer is surprisingly intact, may others try to to a beer with so much heat it ruins it, but the wheat wine is actually left almost in tact to start. The heat and fruit quickly take over and you are left with the typical hot sauce after burn. One of the better tasting chili beers, but still to much to be an actual pleasant beer.

Bomber. Very cloudy yellow, cloudy pastel, lace. Lots of chili pepper in the nose, apricots, orange, wheaty. Very spicy peppery flavor, apricot, bread. Completely dominated by the Scotch Bonnet peppers. Not for me, but well done if you like this kind of thing.

Closuy yellow color with sediment. Medium carbonation. Aroma of Skunky pilsner. Sips medium and has a med carbonation. Slight citrus and hop bitterness. The finish has a slow creeping hot pepper experience. Apricot flavor is present in the afterbreath as well. Very crisp and biting with the carbonation. I could drink this brew all night surprisingly.
