4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Rating from 6/10/13. Bomber with a sexy label. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a medium white soapy head with excellent retention. Aroma is nice and peppery--apricots do come through as it warms up. Taste starts out lightly sweet before intense heat comes in and obliterates everything. Leaves the lips burning and sweat droplets form on the face. Tartness from the apricots comes out after it warms up. Mouthfeel is a little foamy, maybe a tad thin, feels gritty, not to the detriment of my overall impression. The label downplayed the heat in this. "Slight spiciness," my ass! I love spicy beers, though, and this is the shit.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2013 Apricot and wheat aroma. Pepper hit is signifigant, and lasts through the finish. The pepper makes a good fruit beer very unique. I think many might feel it is too hot, but I like.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy golden pour with a white head. Interesting aroma. Really pronounced apricot and almost honey like sweetness up front. Spicy chile peppers, grass, and some herbs. The flavor is mildly spicy, but not terribly sweet. Minimal apricot character. Chile pepper, grass, green bell pepper, and very high carbonation leading to an acidic feel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
222. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a dense and creamy white head that sticks around. Bright peppery nose with some sweetness, but really hard to pick out any other ingredients in the aromatics here. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sharply burning habanero dominates the mid palate, not overwhelming, but strong, and has no company. Hot finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I feel like this is very underrated. Nose of wheat, fruity apricot, touch citrus, medium vegetal pepper notes. Pours cloudy orange yellow white head. Flavors of fresh fruity apricot up front wheat malt in the mid palate more fruity sweetness w a slow developing back of the mouth pepper dry "heat". Not spicy per se but there is definitely pepper flavor. Nice carbonation smooth but light body fairly quenching and unique really a great spice herb vegetable beer. Should be rated higher.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale straw, cloudy, off-white head. Big apricot nose with some spicy wheat. There is a floral aroma as well. Flavor of earthy apricot, followed by wheat, then mild heat of peppers kicks in. The heat lingers in finish. Interesting beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle on the train from Vauxhall to Windsor into plastic glass (thanks to Dave W and Frank initially) 20/11/12.
Murky yellow akin to fresh pineapple juice with a mahooooosive white head that thins but retains well.
Nose is plastic, pepper, spice, herbs, chilli notes, light soap.
Taste comprises light apricots, then boom - a spicy chilli kick. This then overides and dominates the other flavours.
Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation leading to a spicy finish with a good heat burn going on.
Overall - not one for everyday drinking, a little too hot, but interesting enough and one of the better chilli infused beers I’ve sampled.
