Csk @ The Grill, Aberdeen. Lovely hazy gold, poured to perfection. A bit bland, some hops trying to make a statement without being heard.

500ml from Aldi (Scottish Beer Festival). Nothing wild about this at all, in fact it’s actually pretty tame. Little bits of floral, citrus and biscuit but nothing that really stands out. Quite disappointing,

Copper beer with a thin head and a sour citrus aroma. After the scent the flavour was a touch sweeter than I expected with the bitter citrus balanced by a sweet, caramel-y flavour though it remains quite sharp on the tongue. It leaves a slightly airy, floral taste in the mouth afterwards. A crisp, decent beer.

Bottle. A very mild floral aroma. Creamy wheat flavour with a nod towards some citrus. Boring.

Light copper. Faint aroma, lightly fruity. Light, slight acidity, little bit if fruitiness, biscuity malts.

330ml bottle from Hippo Beers shared with mr_h. Hazy amber brown, reasonable head. Creamy resin malt aroma. Spicy vanilla malt flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Not a great beer.

Bottle from Aldi pours a gold ale with a small white fluffy head. Aroma had wheat and citrus. Taste mild bready with some citrus. A mild character this one!

500ml bottle. Dark gold, with slight head. Flowery to taste, with a bitter, citrus finish. Very refreshing. Perfect accompaniment to crisps or nuts.
