COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Only available in 1 litre glass flagons.
ABV varies but is usually 6.0%-6.5%

More than forty varieties of vintage cider apples are grown in our orchards at Burrow Hill. In the autumn the apples are harvested, blended and pressed and the juice matured in oak barrels. Cider has been made on the farm for at least 150 years and the craft and traditions of cidermaking have been passed down through generations. Our cider is made from 100% Somerset apple juice.

Cask at Southampton Arms, London. A hazy golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of apples. The flavor is acidic with notes of apples, leading to a tart finish.

A Mes rate. Cask at the Southampton Arms.
Bloody hell. The first two drinks I’ve had in this place and they both score a 4.1! Big tarty apples some cinnamon and plenty of wooden notes. Bright and fruity. Very drinkable. Bloody brilliant.

1 litre bottle bought from the producer at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Golden in colour, with a slight haze and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of tart apple juice, with a hint of the barnyard. Flavour was clean, with dry fruit juice, a slightly flinty mineral edge, a hint of oak and a decent dry finish, that avoided being too acidic. Very drinkable.
