500ml bottle at home on 19 June 2011, best before May 2009. Clear old gold colour. Slight prickle but not exactly sparkling - maybe the sparkle has faded with age. Otherwise fairly sprightly. Plenty of fruit in the aroma. A little rubbery edge on the nose. Fruity with moderate tannin on the palate. Some sweetness. Tasty and pleasant without being too demanding.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2007
Golden. Aroma of sweet and gentle fruit, as is the taste, which adds some sourness. So far so good. The finish I thought was less impressive: a more cloying sweetness seems to hang in the throat, together with a hard, unnatural dryness.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2007
Bottle (from Tesco). Fruity apple sweetness with woody tannin in the finish. Not a lot of acidity but the tannin helps to take the edge of the sweetness. Seems slightly sterile compared to the dry offering but quite pleasant especially when compared to a lot of the supermarket offerings.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 leaparsons (6323) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2007
Bottle. Light gold with light carbonation. Aromas are light apple juice with lemon. Quite dry with some woody notes. Quite zesty. Flavours are dry, sour apple with a dry woody finish. Good carbonation. The dry finish is a bit artificial. Does cider really need 11 varieties of apple?
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2007
Bottlr from Tesco, Evesham 29-05-07. Despite the name informing you that it was farm pressed this cider actually had a real farmyardy smell, which was great. Had a lovely taste that for me was a very well balanced medium dry cider nice appley bite, really moreish and very refreshing.
