COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Cask; Special (Gold Medal Ale series) - November 2007. In November 1954 ’H-H-Hancock’s Half Hour’ first panted out over the airwaves. Written by Galton and Simpson and starring Anthony Aloysius St. John Hancock, the lad himself, it broke through the BBC’s music hall style comedy barrier to create the first British situation comedy. In various forms it ran until 1963 and included such gems as the test pilot, the blood donor and many many more. So stone me, drink an armful and enjoy the memories. Colour: Pale Nose: Aromatic & hoppy Taste: Well bittered Hops: Pilot & Pacific Gem
