3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 sm89walt (1419) - Norwich, - MAY 31, 2009
Bottle. Reddy brown with a fine beige head, which never completely dissipated. Sour fruity aromas, apples and some yeastiness. Again, fruits are present in the flavour with roasted malts and coffee leading to a dry finish. The palate texture was surprsingly cask-like for a bottled version: low carbonation, soft mouthfeel with a medium lasting bitterness.

fruity nose but has that hint of sourness I look for in a decent porter. Complex malt background and good bittermess too...nice.

500ml bottle. Disappointed in this. Low flavour and watery mouthfeel. Slight sulphury taste the only redeeming factor. Preferred Bramble Stout by the same brewery.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 olio (1530) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 2, 2011
50 cl bottle @ Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere.
Pours murky red colour with medium head. Aroma of cherries, berries, malts, grass and stomach acid. Flavour of berries like strawberry and bilberries, mild malts, ripe fruits and vegetables. Quite repulsive to be honest, the berryness is too dominating for a watery palate like this.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 ration (551) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 2, 2011
I actually managed to rate the alias before. A new bottle, just as bad as befone. Tastes like stale real rinsed in dirty dishes. What were they drinking when they thought this is good? Earlier Rating: 11/11/2011 Total Score: 1.1 Bottle. Looks like stale cola. Tastes like spent real in a bottle. This cant.be right.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Benjii (2396) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 24, 2011
In bottle as Festive Christmas Porter. Pours a slighty hazy, deep ruby colour with a thin tan head. Yeast, apple seed and alcohol nose. Some roasty malt flavour with apple seed and alcohol again. Moderate carbonation and CO2 prickle. Not my thing.
