COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special (Gold Medal Ale series) - December 2007.

On December 4th 1937, Desperate Dan hit the street between the sheets of the Dandy comic. The roughest toughest cowboy from Cactusville chewed rusty nails, shaved with a blowlamp and lifted cows with one hand. All of this was done on a diet of cow pie. Now, being more politically correct, he no longer smokes ship-loads of tobacco and mad cow didease has seen off his cow pies. However our bronzed hero now strides the streets of Dundee as a tribute to the world’s longest running comic.

Colour: Pale
Nose: Aromatic & hoppy
Taste: Well bittered
Hops: Amarillo & Northdown

Cask (Angleterre, Helsinki) Orangy brown, loose head. Odd slightly farty smell - rotten plant matter. Taste however is excellent - sweet and brown, good nutty kick, dry nutty finish. A little watery, but good old-fashioned (pre-’golden’) English bitter.
