Cask@Dartford Beer Festival. Pretty solid. Hop resiny mouthfeel, some toffee aswell, bitter finish, with some citric rindyness.

Beer #43 at Dartford Beer Festival, with Duff. OK, so we went for a festival special. Well, this was a tented festival and it had started raining, so everyone was cramming into the tent. We had a berth at the bar, moving elsewhere was all but impossible, and this was right in front of us. The beer was a solid, mid amber coloured traditional best bitter, with a reasonable balance of malt and hop, and a dry finish. Traces of butterscotch and sulphur on the aroma. Cask (gravity dispense).
