Pint at the Old Manor in Bracknell - old notes. Gold with a reasonable head, light aroma with a hint of citrus. Very plain tasting, I struggled to pick out the flavours. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Dry and very mildly fruity. Missable.

Iíd say this is more of a golden/blonde ale. Taste is uninspiring and bland, not bad though

Cask by handpump at Society Room, Glasgow - clear yellow, thin rapidly diminishing head, no detectable aroma, no lacing, pale malty, vegetable, thin bodied

Cask - The Glass House (JDW), Norwich. Poured a clear golden amber colour with a small though relatively lasting and lightly lacing bubbly white head. On the nose I could immediately notice that this was BB - sulphurous, grassy, gently citric. Light to medium body in the mouth, modest carbonation, moderately lingering finish. A bit flabby on the palate with indistinct (grassy) hop character, more sulphur and, as such, a staleness of mid-fruits in the aftertaste.

Hand-pulled pint in the Brewery Tap at the National Brewery Museum, Burton-on-Trent on 10 Apr 2013. Golden (and almost) delicious as the name claims: light golden in fact with a full white head that produced some impressive lacing. Floral and fruity nose with a taste that is very simular, with a semi-sweet maltiness throughout the beer. Mid-bodied and easy to drink: a better than average brew.
