Cask conditioned - Handpump - Wellington Birmingham. A copper coloured beer with a bit of citrus hop at the back of the otherwise lack lustre aroma. The taste has some typical Burton Bridge butterscotch notes and a litle fruit, but nothing to get excited about.

cask at burton bridge inn seasonal for this year and dark brown in colour. good use of malt to showcase flavour with a good bitter finish.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham, mit Maeib. Copper coloured, no head. Tart, appley aroma - some metal. Rich, though overly butterscotch flavour. Quite tart and citric, with a crunching, lingering finish. Quite nice - almost. I can’t decide if there’s some garbled ingredients, or indeed what they were trying to do here??
