COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Cask; Special (Gold Medal Ale series) - June 2008. Gold Medal Ales are produced monthly in recognition of some of the ’greats’ of history. This month’s story :- American inventor, Edwin Land of Polaroid tame was inspired to develop an instant camera by his young daughter who wanted to see photographs as soon as they had been taken. He filed for patent on his revolutionary process in June 1946 and had sold his first camera by November 1947.He even invented ‘Polarvision’, an instant movie system, but it didn’t take off. However his instant film, a great success, often indecently over exposed, was not completely eclipsed by the digital age until film making finally ceased in February of this year. Colour: Pale Gold Nose: Clean hoppy Taste: Well rounded with lingering bitterness Hops: Pioneer & Mount Hood
