3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy broken white head. The aroma is light citrus hop, light malt. The flavour is light bitter with a light grass hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Rather light all round really but quite a decent session ale.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cask at the Seven Stars, Rugby, 04/06/14.
Clear golden with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is laced with diacetyl, floral tones, butterscotch AD.
Taste follows, a little less of the butterballs but still well evident, pale malt, straw, hint of citric fruit.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
If I’d wanted a pint of Lurpak I’d have ordered a pint of Lurpak.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On cask at Burton Bridge Inn - Golden body with a thin white head which soon goes. Aroma is caramel malt, floral and grassy with a sulphurous-ness in the back. Taste is the same with out the match smell, very drinkable however, but my least favourite of the three I had at the brewery tap.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasted this bitter in the Last Post, Paisley in January 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thick white head. Citric lime note in the short floral aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a juicy zesty flavour of lemon peel and tart grapefruit. Dry dusty hops in the bitter aftertaste compliment the malt well. Refreshing bitter finish with a citric dryness. A typical summer session blond ale.
