Cask. Special - April 2003 (Gold Medal Ales series).
In April 1957 the larger than life astronomer Patrick Moore shone out of our TV screens to present the first ’Sky at Night’ programme. Patrick was self taught and at the age of 11 was elected a member of the British Astronomical Society. Fifty years later, to the day, he was elected its President and has predicted that the first man on Mars has already been born. The hops in this beer were Bramling Cross and Challenger.

(Cask)Quite similiar to the 'Stairway to Heaven', slightly more honeyed however, and a touch sweeter, if anything. Toffee malts, citrus bitter finish. Simple, but nice enough to drink.
