Burton Bridge Talbots Triangle(RETIRED) | |||||||||||||
RATINGS: 1 MEAN: 2.7/5.0 WEIGHTED AVG: 2.73 SEASONAL: Special EST. CALORIES: 135 ABV: 4.5%
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Cask; Special (Gold Medal Ale series) - January 2008. The Trademarks Act came into being on the first of January 1876 and a luckless employee of a Burton firm of solicitors spent New Year’s Eve and night outside Trademarks House. He registered the world’s first trademark, the triangle of a prominent Burton brewer. This beer is a tribute to that forgotten hero and to Talbots Solicitors who have outlasted the brewer. The hops in this beer are good old Fuggles and Goldings and it should bear a passing resemblance to that famous triangular pale ale. Colour: Amber Nose: Well hopped Taste: Classic bitterness Hops: Fuggles & Golding
