Apparently some of the local pubs give discounts on the price of a pint of this beer on production of your X38 bus ticket but as I had arrived by train it didn’t apply but this was a really nice beer. Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity orange flavour with a little bitterness in a crisp and creamy dry finish.

Cask@25th Burton Summer Beer Festival, 2007. Golden beer with a fruity and dry aroma, and a very dryly hopped and gasey flavour. Overall a reasonable strongly dry beer.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden with a small white head. Hop aroma. Nettly, grassy hop taste with some citrus. Slight bitterness. A bit watery.
