Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Deep copper colour with bubbly lasting head. Really good English hop/malt nose. Excellent supping best bitter. Slightly full in mouth with drying hop on end. Some toffee, clean, drinkable, slightly tart. Best bitter as it should be. Just a tad too wet in the mouth

An average bitter. Some sulfur and egg in the nose however. Grainy and citric, with some bitterness, a bit short and boring, but acceptable (Cask- ChelmsfordBF-03).

A Mes rate: Cask at Baker St. ’Sporks.
Bright copper with a thin bubbly off white head. Aroma has a reasonable malt and hop balance with some slight tobacco. Flavour of nutty, earthy malt with a kick of bitterness at the finish. Harsh fruit and corn notes do it no favours.

Cask Conditioned at Wetherspoons. Dark amber bitter with bubbly head. More an IPA in character, hoppy dry, tangy fruit and long finish.
