A Mes rate: Cask at Baker St. ’Sporks.
Bright copper with a thin bubbly off white head. Aroma has a reasonable malt and hop balance with some slight tobacco. Flavour of nutty, earthy malt with a kick of bitterness at the finish. Harsh fruit and corn notes do it no favours.

Jun 12, 2008 Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Pretty bland with no Burton snatch at all! I expected a more interesting beer from this brewery having visited their tap a few years ago and enjoyed what I tried there.

Jun 10, 2008 Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Gold with a thin loose white head; fruity aroma; fruitay aroma with orange and apricot; slightly sour bitterness to a long lasting finish.

Feb 4, 2008 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber with a small white head. Slight malt aroma. Some sweet malt and fruit in the taste. Mid bitter finish. Straight down the middle no-frills bitter which does its job.
