Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Dark brown with red tints, an off-white head. Aromas are chocolate and toffee malts with earthy hops. Also has cream with mellow citrus and spices. Flavours are creamy with toffee malts and some mellow berry fruit. Also has chocolate notes. Quite rich and tasty. Almost an ESB, but lacks the strength.
