Cask Handpump at the Brunswick, Derby 27/07/2007 Malt aroma. Golden bronze coloured fruity and slightly sweet. Some dryness and bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

Half at Burton Old Cottage pub Dark amber with some vanilla and dried fruit on the nose. Fairly rich with a lot of malt character.

Cask-conditioned at the Staffordshire Beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol 6/10/10. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, hedgerow fruit and grassy hops. Flavour was sweet, with bready malts, plenty of fruit and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask, Ale Wagon, Leicester. Amber with an off-white foam. Aromas are toffee apple with salt and toffee. Fruity malts with biscuit. Flavours are sweet chewy toffee malts with caramel and spritzy yeast. A decent malty bitter.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Brunswick, Derby. A mid brown coloured beer with some crunchy notes and sweet malts on the nose. The taste is ordinary with a bit of malt/hop balance, but too plain by half.
