COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Has a smooth, refreshing taste. Busch is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn to provide a pleasant balanced flavor. Since being introduced regionally in 1955, the Busch beer brand family has grown to become one of the top-selling value beer brand families. Busch also holds a noted place in Anheuser-Busch history as the first new brand after the repeal of Prohibition.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2008 Thanks to my neighbor Denver for sharing his favorite beer with me. It pours a pale yellow straw color with a foamy white head. The body is very clear and clean with plenty of carbonation. The aroma is mostly salty and hay like. A metal can note is also detected in the nose. The taste is very light. Light malts cut with rice are most noticeable. It’s also salty and has some very light bitterness to it. Busch is light bodied and thin with lots of fizzy carbonation. The finish is dry and abrupt.

Had this one canned in Crown Point, Indiana, thanks Chris!! Clear, bright yellow pour with a thick fluffly white head; unpalatable watery nose of canned corn and rice water; balanced flavor, not trending toward bitterness or sweetness, a bit on the flavorless side; peters out to a watery nothingness. What can I say, it’s not undrinkable but, honestly, what’s the point?

I’m embarrassed to admit that I have tried this. I am also embarassed this was produced in my country. But when you’re underage and desperate to drink just about anything, and you don’t know any better- This will have to do. I’ve been bud-free for about 2 years now.

aroma is drunken college girl. flavor is reminiscent of a frat party kegger. drink quickly, as it just gets crappier as it gets warmer.
