I remember having this while playing cards a number of years ago. We drank this all afternoon and were still feeling thristy and quite sober. THe fact that it was on sale at the corner store may have been the reason we had so much of this. I digress. Thin straw color with a wispy white head. Faint, very faint aroma of light grain. Light sweetness that does not seem to go anywhere. Touch of bitterness - somewhat like asprin in water.

Can, thanks to zdk9, almost clear yellow in color with a skunky green aroma and flavor

Invited to friend’s party and what do they have to drink, Sutter Home wine and Busch Beer. It looks like beer, it (sort of) smells like beer, it tastes like watered down beer, but it is not the old Busch Barvarian of the 1950s and 1960s. Another corn and multi-grain adjunct cereal beverage that once fooled me during college that this is supposed to be real beer. Man was I naive back then.

Can (355ml). Gotta love the NASCAR logo on this puppy - yee haw! Poured weak pee yellow, slightly bubbly, small fizzy white head. Sugary aroma of burnt muddy grain and cheap chocolate syrup - not horrible but unpleasant. Taste is corny and good grief I think those are actual hops - stale, weak, but there - it’s thin, it’s slightly vegetal, it’s too sweet - but I was surprised how little I hated it. If I had to choose between this and taking a hammer to my own hand, I’d definitely choose this beer.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2008 Ah, college days. Used to hit me hard the next day. Not much fun if I drank much. Light bland aorma of corn. The taste was corny with some metal. Light and somewhat drinkable.

Very soft aged version - approx 1995. There’s very little flavour here, but some soft watery malt emerges. No awareness of hops. Not much happening. Wet ghost. No off flavours. No carbonation left. Drinkable.

Gee, what a surprise, this is light yellow with an airy cushioned head. Sharp soapy aroma. Watery texture and a fruity sweet malt flavor.

Poured a pale golden color with a small, white head that left trace amount of lacing on the glass. Aroma of corn sweetness, honey, citrus, and wet cardboard. Taste of more wet cardboard, grainy, toffee, and a bitter, metal finish. Better than I had expected, and probably the best outcome you can hope for during Group Therapy.

Mild DMS aroma. Clear golden, thin white head recedes fully. Slightly sweet. Pretty lifeless in the mouth consider how carbonated this is. Very little to like about this one but it is clean. Bottle.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2004 Coors is worse, barely. Sewery/rotting rice aroma follows an obviously artificial head. No flavor to speak of; finishes like flat Coke, and then hits you in the gut a half hour later. I only drank 1/3 of a can; I'm still young and want to get older.
