COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2010 Busch Ice (not available in Louisiana) is a pleasant ice beer. The aroma is rather neutral, and the appearance is a decent straw color; pretty standard. It has a nice, if mild, flavor, and a good, light mouth feel. My overall impression is that Busch Ice holds its own against others of its ilk. The above-average alcohol content gives the drinker that particular feeling after wards (drank a 24 oz. can in a chalice). I have only seen this product sold in St. Louis and Memphis. Good stuff. Unreal I found this, but my ticking ass scooped it up! Smells like expired corn and gasoline. The flavor is not that offensive, well its not good. Lots of cereal grains, corn, and booze going on. This might even be a tad better than Icehouse and certainly beats Natty Ice. But what compare turds? 3 points of interest.....1)Still sucks 2)will get you wasted 3)Less rubbing alcohol burn than Natty Ice or Beast Ice for the same coin. Take that for what its worth. Overall still sucks!

For the price, highest alcohol content in class. Therefore, it achieves exactly what it is meant to do. Like every other ’Ice’ beer, this doesn’t go down as smooth as other cheapies.

Overall Impression: Higher alcohol terribleness that really there is almost no reason to ever drink.

Headache in a can. Natural Ice clone. Do not drink. You do not need to get drunk this badly.

High in alcohol, so hopefully you can get drunk enough to not realize how offensive the flavor it is. Yellow color, watery with a bitter, awful taste. Absolute pee.

The only saving grace for the ice beers is that the alcohol content is high, to facilitate effective funneling.

Sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. Good grief! I could not tell the difference between this Bud Ice. It has to be the same beer with a different package label.
