COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2008 Oh what a terrible "beer." tastes of water, urine, and alcohol. If you are buying economy style, buy a cheaper ice beer that still tastes like crap.

Why not, you are trying to get drunk so you might as well buy the stuff with more alcohol so you can really fell horrible the next morning.

A light corny aroma. Very pale gold with a substantial white head. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is very pale malt. Finishes with virtually no hop and something of a papery taste. After awhile some bitter does seem to come forth, but not much.

Light yellow in color, small thin white head that fades quickly. Light sweet off smelling corn aroma with a geriatric little hop. As expected it is thin on the palate with a grainy watery, slightly sweet finish but packs a little whollop.

I would rate it lower if I could. Immitation beer at its finest, and a wonderful example of capitalism in action, that is, making the cheapest product possible and selling for highest price market will allow. Acquisition wholesale cost = 25 cents, sells for $2.50 and up at restaurants. Calling this thing beer is disrepectful to the word, and the entire concept of the tradition.
