COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

Soddy-Daisy, Tn. - some random convenience store - 24 oz. can. Light golden pour, pithy white head. Wet paper bag aroma with some grainy accents. Non-descript cheap lager flavor with some corniness, a hint of soggy cereal and some slight boozy notes. Very dry mouthfeel. Palatable.

Big boy can picked up at a gas station near the VA/NC border. Split with some chill bros. Light gold with hardly any head whatsoever. Pretty papery nose. Little else. Light body, tastes of nothing really. Very active carbonation. Watery. Overall, there’s nothing to hate here. Nothing to commend, either.

busch trilogy tasting session on a pre-summer day, otherwise known as the day that i should have had quenched myself with water instead (also called , in short, the day i’ve been am-busched). pours clear pale yellow with a small white head, reducing not-surprinsingly quickly. corn, apple juice and booze, hint of sweet faint malts, herbal and grassy blandness. aggressive carbonation, light body - watery. obvious DP again.

Sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. Good grief! I could not tell the difference between this Bud Ice. It has to be the same beer with a different package label.

Overall Impression: Higher alcohol terribleness that really there is almost no reason to ever drink.

After drinking Busch and Busch light, I was certainly expecting less rudeness. Aroma is about the same but...Much more crude than Busch in flavor, which I consider a decent lager. Very good carbonation and I appreciated that. Almost has that metallic coarse Melanie attitude about it. Could have a few more manners but after all it is an ICE beer, heheheh.

This beer was great because I didnt have to change the numbers to rate it! Had this at a friends party, lets just say I was glad for the roughly 1 percent more alcohol it boasted over other pale lagers. Oh yeah, it tastes bad.

The best part about this beer is that it’s 5.9% - so even though you’re practically drinking water, you’ll at least feel it sooner. So yay?
