COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

Unreal I found this, but my ticking ass scooped it up! Smells like expired corn and gasoline. The flavor is not that offensive, well its not good. Lots of cereal grains, corn, and booze going on. This might even be a tad better than Icehouse and certainly beats Natty Ice. But what compare turds? 3 points of interest.....1)Still sucks 2)will get you wasted 3)Less rubbing alcohol burn than Natty Ice or Beast Ice for the same coin. Take that for what its worth. Overall still sucks!

Onward ho. Reviewed from notes. This was poured more than enough times in a pint glass and a pilsener. The appearance was a decent clear golden yellow color with a fast rising carbonation running about it. There is a head, but that dies within less than about fifteen seconds. There is some lacing, but that ends up sliding right on into the beer. The smell had some cooked vegetable/sort of sweet corniness to it. Its actually quite a weird smell to be honest. The taste well, that leaves a lot to be desired as it portrays a lot of wateriness to it. The palate, it sits light and the carbonation is not really there. Overall, this is not much of a beer to me. I realize "light" can be good, but I say really only if you’re seeking it. I’m not seeking it.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2004 The beer leaves the cana light gold with a moderate sized whit semi-creamy head and the left over lace a thin coating upon the glass. Nose is malt, crisp and clean, start is lightly sweet with the top thin as water. Finish is strict in its acidity, the hops meek and the aftertaste dry as a desert summer. Been four plus years since I gagged one of these down.

Not a fan of Busch and wondering why these make their way up in Canada. Alright, seems like Labatt brews it here, and at 5.5% ABV. Expecting this one to be a bit more golden, but no. Pale yellow like their normal version. White head, does last a while and the lacing is pretty good (almost with a creamy edge). Mild aromas of corn and other adjuncts. Smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Same for the flavours, mild, corn, adjuncts. Nothing really bad here (overall mild) and I can understand why my friend like this one to get drunk on. The Canadian version seems better, judging from the reviews.

Hmmm. Right from the can .WOW they took regular busch and left it in the freezer for a few days. Wow what a really refreshing piece of crap beer this is. Bland, thin , lack luster, unimaginative garbage.
