COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch Ice has a rich, smooth taste with exceptional drinkability and a slightly sweet finish. Busch Ice undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing. This leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process, which help create its rich, smooth taste. Ice beer is rumored to have been developed by accident in Germany during Oktoberfest celebrations. A particularly cold year froze the celebrated bock beers, which are traditionally brewed for spring, and a new taste was noticed by the drinkers.

Sampled from a 16 ounce can, it doesn’t have an body what so ever and its taste is seriously lacking, it does have a good abv and is quite cheap, so you decide. ......rerate...i guess....i really thought i hadn’t had this before but that shows ya, the mind starts to wonder after 500+ beers....nice smell really, doesn’t smell cheap at all....good good lacing to ,wow, looks and smells the part so far...and the taste is of corn flakes, i have underestimated this beer,...hey its still in the lower ranks of pale lagers but this one isn’t that digusting so....(scores changed accordingly)

10/5/07 From 24oz can. Aroma is sweet, crisp and corny as hell. Appearance is very yellow with a low white head. Flavor is simple and artificial with rice, corn and some kind of slightly earthy hop extract. This is weird and carbonic and I presume left me slightly sterile. Mouthfeel is light bodied, watery, spritzy, with a high carb texture. Overall, this is drinkable, but has such low character, I really wish it was a 12oz can so I could finish it twice as fast. It’s like watching masterpiece theater reruns with a bottle of wild turkey in your lap; bland and white trash all at the same time.

After drinking Busch and Busch light, I was certainly expecting less rudeness. Aroma is about the same but...Much more crude than Busch in flavor, which I consider a decent lager. Very good carbonation and I appreciated that. Almost has that metallic coarse Melanie attitude about it. Could have a few more manners but after all it is an ICE beer, heheheh.

Had this at a neighbor’s BBQ. Pale gold color and faint tangy/hoppy aroma---at least it had an aroma...Taste is what you’d expect: Adjunct-influenced sweetness with light hop profile and moderately hefty carbonation for bite. Quaffable when served good and cold.

can. Poured clear pale yellow with a quickly dissipating head. Sweet corny grain aroma. Light body, average carbonation. Pale malts, cereal grain flavour, sweet pale malt. I don’t drink Busch often but i prefer just plain ol’ Busch, the extra 0.5% alcohol is not worth it.
