1.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 GT2 (5647) - Riverslime, California, USA - NOV 19, 2009
Can. You know this wasn’t as bad as I would have originally thought. It pours a rather deep, sickly urine color with a rather dense white head that has very little retention and no lacing. Aroma is big corn, esters, formaldihyde, some vegetal notes. Big seltzer mouthfeel with a slightly creamy body. Taste is pretty much typical macro lager but has a bit more depth. At 6.7%, it’s not quite a malt liquor or full ice beer, which is probably why it is overall inoffensive. Not bad. I was terrified to try it but now I’m a firm believer.

Not a fan of Busch and wondering why these make their way up in Canada. Alright, seems like Labatt brews it here, and at 5.5% ABV. Expecting this one to be a bit more golden, but no. Pale yellow like their normal version. White head, does last a while and the lacing is pretty good (almost with a creamy edge). Mild aromas of corn and other adjuncts. Smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel and medium-bodied. Same for the flavours, mild, corn, adjuncts. Nothing really bad here (overall mild) and I can understand why my friend like this one to get drunk on. The Canadian version seems better, judging from the reviews.

Not much difference btw. Ice or normal Bush . Not much of anything , alco-sweet ... Small head , pale ... Slightly toxic :)... Remember NATURAL CARBONATION !!!

A light corny aroma. Very pale gold with a substantial white head. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is very pale malt. Finishes with virtually no hop and something of a papery taste. After awhile some bitter does seem to come forth, but not much.

24 ounce can. Pours a clear golden yellow, with a thin white head. Is very similiar to the regular Busch beer, but for me the alcohol balances out the flavor abit. Not bad as it is a cheap way to get liquored up, but I’d rather go an alternate route when looking to get drunk.

I drank 12 of these once, and it’s hard for me to describe the events that followed, except that it wasn’t pretty.

This is my favorite ice beer. It’s so much better than Natural Ice (but then again, anything is). For the price you pay, you can’t really go wrong with Busch Ice.
