UPDATED: JUL 4, 2010 Busch Ice (not available in Louisiana) is a pleasant ice beer. The aroma is rather neutral, and the appearance is a decent straw color; pretty standard. It has a nice, if mild, flavor, and a good, light mouth feel. My overall impression is that Busch Ice holds its own against others of its ilk. The above-average alcohol content gives the drinker that particular feeling after wards (drank a 24 oz. can in a chalice). I have only seen this product sold in St. Louis and Memphis. Good stuff. Had this beer to long ago, just transferring from a app I was using to rate beer. As I drink these again I will add a better review.

24 oz. can from a plastic hotel cup. Pours a light, fizzy yellow beer. Actually has a decent, white head. Aroma is painfully sweet with a sour, stale finish. Taste has huge vegetal notes with a huge stale corn finish. This is among the worst of the sub-premium ice beers...

Ghastly, appalling, disgusting beer. Truly, honestly, desperately bad beer.

Truly something special. Had it back to back with westy 12, and it holds its own....

Just looking over the pale lagers and seeing the ones I missed rating, wish I had not.......

This is a competitor for the lowest of the low, but it beats out Natural Light because it doesn’t give me a splitting headache after a single can the way that beer does. Also, less heavy and disgusting than miller high life. Overall, about on par with coors light, but a very different character. This is a heavy beer, strong, high alcohol content. In my opinion, this is the worst I’ve tried, however, among the "ice" beers. I strongly prefer milwaukee’s best ice (if I’m going to be drinking one, honestly they’re not something I’d usually choose on my own. That one has a stronger alcohol character to it...and in this one the alcohol is less noticeable, more masked...but it’s masked by a nasty, sour taste that is, in my opinion, worse than the alcohol. I do not recommend this one.
