COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch NA is a fully-fermented, non-alcohol version of Busch beer that offers a smooth, full-bodied, malty flavor. All of Anheuser-Busch’s non-alcohol products are brewed, fermented and aged to full maturity. The alcohol is then removed through the use of low-temperature, low-pressure distillation. This extremely gentle process allows the alcohol to be removed without heating or cooking the beer, which retains the full, rich and delicate flavor and balance of our non-alcohol brews.

(Can) THIS BREWERY ROCKS - I cannot get enough of it! Wait, nope... that is my next review for Southampton. This beer was poured down a black Canadian Tire funnel into a waiting New Englanders stomach and, supposedly, making some counter-remark towards the beering society - I honour his fearlessness but question his wisdom? This beer poured a thin, white, quick dissipating head and a golden body. No carbonation. Nose of club soda. No flavour. No satisfaction...

So, for my 2500th rating, I decided to get something special - I was going to rate the the hghest rated beer on this site that I had not had. A quick check of the top 50 reveals that its Närke Kaggen Stormaktsporter. Cool. So, armed with this knowledge, a litle resolve, and 5 dollars, I head off to the Food City grocery store. But here’s the thing - they didn’t have it! Really! (For the record, they didn’t have Hair of the Dog Dave, either. I was prepared to rate that, if I had to.). Obviously, I was disappointed, but what’re gonna do? I had to come up with a new plan. Maybe they had the lowest rated beer I had not rated? What luck! They did.! They only had it in six packs of cans, though. I prefer to rate from a 22 oz or 750ml, so, y’know, I can really savor and reflect on the beer. Oh, and they wouldn’t let me break up a sixer, either. But, nevertheless, I got my rating ! Huzzah! Oh, I almost forgot - this beer is like 100% pure sadness, convienently packaged in 12oz can.

Appearance: Pours a lightly effervescent, crystal clear, golden-hued body with a small, white head. Smell: Sourish, corn-hinted grain nose with some light floral notes. Taste: Thin-tasting blend of boiled corn cobs and grains with a mild, fleeting sweetness. Hint of flowers. No apparent bitterness. Water, water, water on the finish -- gotta replace the flavor and alcohol with *something*, right? Mouthfeel: Remarkably thin in body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Fairly non-offensive, bland, and watery.

Pale yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of corn and funk. Very watery flavor, some light corn and some faint hops. The lack of alcohol has a very noticable effect on the flavor, leaving it with a heavier water consistency. Unlike their alcoholic counterparts, this isn’t going to improve with excess drinking.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2006 Wow it is really true what they say about this beer having no taste or aroma. You really have to try really hard to smell anything and when you do you might get a tiny hint of malt. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head that fades fast. The flavor is closer to water than beer. Much like the aroma you might be able to taste a tiny bit of sweet malt if you try. The palate is like having a glass of water. The only reason this gets any points from me is the lack of offensive tastes. The only real value it has is maybe someone’s first beer.

12oz can. How exciting. Pours clear golden color. Thin white head. Very light on the nose. Hints of corn. Flavor is of fizz and water. There is the slightest hint of rinse water on the palate. Very light and not much flavor. Drink up, especially if you don’t drink beer.

Pours a crisp golden yellow color. Aromas of vegtables, corn, and some minor hopping. Flavor is bitter and kind of bland. Not the best N/A but still better than O’Douls and Sharp’s.

Can. Medium sized white head with fine sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. Carbonated, transparent and a pale yellow hue. Malty and sweet aroma. Flavor was sweet, malty, bland and watery tasting. Smooth and watery palate. Light bodied beer with virtually no lacing.
