COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Busch NA is a fully-fermented, non-alcohol version of Busch beer that offers a smooth, full-bodied, malty flavor. All of Anheuser-Busch’s non-alcohol products are brewed, fermented and aged to full maturity. The alcohol is then removed through the use of low-temperature, low-pressure distillation. This extremely gentle process allows the alcohol to be removed without heating or cooking the beer, which retains the full, rich and delicate flavor and balance of our non-alcohol brews.

Can at RBSG Grand Tasting, July 2006. The aroma is truly vile. I won’t attempt to describe all the nasty elements. The flavour is somewhat better in that it is entirely absent. Tap water has more body and flavour than this. At least I won’t have to drink it again. And I’ve got my low alcohol beer tick back again - the previous one, whatever it was, that I tried specifically to cross off the style must have been reclassified.

surprisingly (?) i haven’t seen this beer in many places, so i was excited to pick up a sixer in houghton, mi. the can itself doesn’t look so bad except for the words "non-alcoholic." pale yellow with lots of bubbles and a big head. smells like grainy breakfast cereal with water instead of milk, and tastes like the water from that same bowl of cereal. water throughout the body and finish, and few other flavors are apparent. why would anyone drink this beer? it tastes like nothing and there’s no booze in it. <a href=http://tinyurl.com/q39dq>yummy

Can. Sour corn malt aroma. Light yellow with large but quickly dissipating head. Light cornflake/Captain Crunch flavor but not very sweet. Like that it’s not as coying as O’Douls or Sharp - just a tad better.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2006 Wow it is really true what they say about this beer having no taste or aroma. You really have to try really hard to smell anything and when you do you might get a tiny hint of malt. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head that fades fast. The flavor is closer to water than beer. Much like the aroma you might be able to taste a tiny bit of sweet malt if you try. The palate is like having a glass of water. The only reason this gets any points from me is the lack of offensive tastes. The only real value it has is maybe someone’s first beer.

Can (12oz). Courtesy of "Grampa Jan" - rating #3100. Light gold pour, looks oily and dead - large fluffy bright white diminishing plastic head. The aroma is very unpleasant, even when damned cold - pesticided grass clippings, hot PVC, metal and corn silage - if I’m honest, maybe a hint of clover. The taste is fricking brutal, though - corn, plastic, urine-soaked newsprint, hummingbird feeder water and weeds, aged in a dumpster in full sun then lightly flambeed. Thin, flat, harsh, fake - ugly aftertaste - utterly worthless after all.

Pours a clear golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma is burnt grain, some honey, and a slight hint of peppery hops. Flavor is slightly burnt grain, honey, and a light bitter finish.

Can. Pours pale with a foamy white head. Lager aroma with subdue grainy, corn flavor. Very light and watery. Why would you have to do this? Just drink water if it comes down to that decision.

Thanks to Maniac for leaving this one at Immy’s Tasting! 12oz. can. Pours clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Nose is faint, but some metallic sweet corn can be made. No flavor at all. Possibly a little corn. A little metallic aftertaste. Mostly this resembles water, and kind of quenches your thirst as well.
